The Patients Coalition for Medical Cannabis was born out of a collaboration between patients and healthcare providers who intimately understand the critical need for and importance of medication, specifically medical cannabis. These individuals came together with a shared vision.

We are Alabama’s only patient-led group to facilitate discussions and address the unique needs of patients.

We are a supportive community where patients can share their experiences, benefits, and healthcare providers can offer insights, ultimately improving the overall quality of care.

We advocate for medical cannabis to be considered an option in the spectrum of medications provided by doctors, just like traditional medicines. By bridging the gap in understanding and acceptance, they hope to foster a more inclusive and progressive healthcare environment. This effort ensures that patients have access to the most suitable treatments for their conditions, recognizing the therapeutic potential of medical cannabis alongside conventional therapies.
